Hoppy Birthday

Just wanted to share a little card I made at a scrapbooking get together last week. I can't take credit for the design. The instructor had the supplies and a sample for us to copy. I just thought that it turned out so cute that I wanted to share. The frog is actually sitting on pop dots and his eyes have a glazed pop effect as well. So fun. Thanks for looking.

Scraplifting

This week I participated in an online crop at 4 Scrappy Sisters. I didn't get quite as much done as I'd hoped. It was a busy week with my son's b'day on Wednesday and then us out of town Friday night and 1/2 of Saturday. One of the challenges I did was to 'scraplift' someone else's layout. This first one is a scraplift of a layout done by one of the sweetest gals I've met online. Her name is Lauren. Her page can be found at: http://4scrappysisters.com/gallery/albums/userpics/100_0696.JPG

This second layout was another scraplift. This time from a scrapper named Renee. I loved making this layout because it really made me think outside the box...meaning it's not my usual style, but I really liked how it turned out. Renee's layout can be found at: http://4scrappysisters.com/gallery/albums/userpics/CANDID_MOMENT.jpg

Sweet Tayden

I just loved this photo of Tayden taken last Fall. He's such a handsome little guy and he loves to smile for the camera. I just recently bought a cool stamp set and punch which I used to make the flower on the bottom. I wanted to keep things simple to focus on Tate.

Hi Card

I love using paper that really coordinates well. While I was in Utah last August I was lucky enough to visit a huge scrapbook blowout. I picked up a pack contains about 50 sheets of patterned paper (all included here) for about $5. This is the first chance I've had to use it...well, along with the layout from my last post as well. I like how it's so fun and bright.

Busy Busy

I've been a busy little scrapping beaver this weekend since I am participating in an online 'crop.' Here is the work I have to share so far.Two of the layouts are for my neice Addie. They are scraplifts from a scrapper named Jennifer. Her work can be found at: http://4scrappysisters.com/gallery/albums/userpics/closeup.jpg and http://4scrappysisters.com/gallery/albums/userpics/scrapbooking_layouts.jpg

Sleeping Beauty

This is my baby girl. It's hard to believe she'll be one year old this month! This photo was taken when she wasn't quite 2 months old...on her blessing day. She just looks like a little princess in this photo so I wanted to keep the page very simple drawing special attention to her beautiful white dress. I was amazed how many different types of white flowers I had. :o) She is just growing up way too fast!
