Snowmen

Life has been a little beyond hectic lately so sorry it's been so long since I've shared anything. Here are some cute little snowmen I made last week. I love snowmen!!They are made out of 2 X 4's and they are so fun! It was a little tricky getting that wire on them to hold the wood together but I really like how they they turned out. I didn't come up with the idea. I actually went to a little get together with some friends at church and one of the other gals had the idea. I'm so lucky to have clever friends! :)

Today I got to reveal my November creations on 4 Scrappy Sisters. I had a lot of fun with this kit. I always feel like I'm not very 'creative' though. At any rate, it's a great kit and is just jam packed with awesome scrappy stuff. :)

I have had a lot of family and friends that have had babies recently. I LOVE it!! Here are a couple of the cards I made today to send with their gifts. I like dipping into my stash of scraps when making little cards. I just attach them right to the gift so I don't even need envelopes. :)

Today I finally got a present off to a friend who had their first baby not too long ago...ok, a couple months ago. I have been so swamped lately that I was a little behind. Here is the card I made to go with the gift. Quick but fun and I got to use up some of my growing stash of scraps. :)

My Brothers

I am working on an 8X8 album for my parents about our family and this is the page I have most recently completed... 10 minutes ago to be exact. :) These are my 5 brothers. They are such great guys and I am so grateful to know and love each one of them! The picture on the bottom shows them in order of age (left to right youngest to oldest).

I used We R Memory Keepers Write Out Collection papers, Cardstock sticker from Flair Designs, Prima flowers, Gin-X rubons & misc buttons & ribbon.

My First Design Team Reveal

Today is Reveal Day at 4 Scrappy Sisters! Here is my contribution to the work this month. I loved working with the September Card Kit and I was amazed at how much I was able to get done with it! I still have stuff left over too!!

Photo Card Challenge

On 4 Scrappy Sisters they have some really fun challenges going on right now. I made this card for the challenge to create a card with a photo on it. This photo is from Isaac's trip to the zoo about 2 1/2 years ago. He sure has grown a lot since then!

Gingerbread

Just trying to get a little caught up on some of my older photos. I found a scrapbook page in a magazine that I wanted to scraplift and here is my take on it. I like how it turned out. It's tough for me to leave so much open space though (down by the journaling) so it feels a little incomplete. I think that it's good though that I try different things. I want to always be growing when it comes to my skills etc and the best way to do that is to step outside the box right?

My Recent Work

It has been a little while since I have shared some of my work. Here's what I have been up to...

This little girl is so much fun! When I saw this photo I was just blown away by those beautiful blue eyes and her adorable little, sassy, tongue sticking out!

My sister took this picture and I just fell in love with it! I now have a copy hanging in my bedroom and obviously a copy in my scrapbook! This is the temple Gardiner & I were married in! This is the first page I have used stitching on. I really like how it turned out.

This is my sweet little Wyatt. He took quite the tumble a week or so ago. I just had to make sure I had a scrapbook page about it!
